Pulse 2012

I know it has been weeks since it all ended but i haven't yet posted anything from de last 2 days. What I have to say? They have probably been the most motivating days of my life and I can't thank enough who gave me this opportunity! As for the shows Aleksandar Protic, V!tor and Adidas were probably the ones I loved de most. The first I was very excited to see for the minimalism of the fabrics, leather and cotton, neutral colors very nordish which is what I'm currently obsessing over. The second one was very princess like but still quite controversial, pink, diamonds and ponies contrasting with the flour on the floor. The third was pretty different from the others I didn't fell for the clothes (sports it's not my thing) but for the Dj's the MisShapes (play for houses like LV and so on). I also wanna thank my friend Idalio (in the pictures) for his patience those days and I hope he enjoyed it has much has I did! See you in February Moda Lisboa :) 

Eu sei que já passaram semanas desde que o moda Lisboa aconteceu mas ainda nao tinha feito nenhum post sobre os últimos dois dias. O que é que posso dizer? Foram provavelmente os dias mais motivadores da minha vida e como é obvio não posso agradecer o suficiente a quem me deu esta oportunidade! Quanto aos desfiles Aleksandar Protic, V!tor e Adidas foram provavelmente os que eu mais amei. No primeiro estava super entusiasmada para ver ao vivo o minimalismo dos seus tecidos, pele e algodão, cores neutras e um estilo muito nordico (pelo qual estou super obcecada). No segundo achei-o super princesa com um lado controver-so, super cor de rosa com brilhantes mas a contrastar umas linhas de farinha no chão. O terceiro não gostei propriamente devido às roupas (desporto não é muito a minha àrea) mas sim pelos Dj's os MisShapes (tocam em desfiles como a LV). Queria também agradecer ao Idálio pela paciencia e espero que ele tenha gostado tanto como eu gostei! Em Fevereiro ha mais :)

Moda Lisboa day 1

 

Yesterday was my first day at Moda Lisboa and I couldn't have enjoyed it more! First show on front row and a picture in Máxima magazine, a girl can't ask for more! 

Since I'm facing a terrible flu I only had a chance to watch two shows: Ricardo Preto and White Tent, in the first one I really enjoyed the summerly feeling of the fabrics and the softness of the colors he choose making us fell a true summer vibe. As for White Tent they choose more pastel like colors contrasting with a purple wow always full their characteristic  confort wear but still very fashionable!

As for tonight I'm staying home cause I want to be in full shape for the weekend shows, can't wait to see Aleksandar Protic show on Sunday :)

Ontem foi o meu primeiro dia de moda Lisboa e não me poderia ter divertido mais! No primeiro desfile estive sentada na primeira fila e mal cheguei tiraram-me uma foto para o site da revista Máxima! 

Mas infelizmente estou com uma gripe terrivel e por isso só tive a oportunidade de ver dois desfiles: Ricardo Preto e White Tent. No primeiro adorei o espirito de Verão que as peças transmitiam e a leveza dos tecidos e das cores. Em White Tent a escolha recaiu sobretudo nas cores pastel com o grande contraste com o roxo, adorei sobretudo o conforto bastante chic das roupas!

Por hoje fico em repouso para estar mais que recoperada para os desfiles do fim de semana, mal posso esperar para ver o de Aleksandar Protic no Domingo :)

Formula 1 run run

Last week me and a friend of mine were invited to attend a party for the launch of TW  Steel formula 1 watches at Lux. It was a lovely night full of champagne and good music! 

This was the outfit I choose: my so faithful Louis Vuitton purse and my oh so adorable Zara dress that I tended to use all summer long cause the strong colors looked even better when I was tanned.. I terribly miss those days..

Na semana passada eu e um amigo meu fomos convidados a estar presentes na festa de lançamento dos relogios TW Steel formula 1 no Lux. Foi uma noite extremamente bem passada cheia de champagne e boa musica! 

Este foi o conjunto que escolhi para a ocasião: a minha fiel Louis Vuitton e o meu adoravel vestido da Zara que usei e abusei todo o santo Verão, claro está que ele ficava bem melhor nos dias em que a pele bronzeada existia.. Que saudades desse tempo..

Lisbon Lisbon Lisbon

Sorry sorry sorry for my lately lack of attention to the blog! I've returned to Lisbon a couple of weeks ago but it has been a back and forth to Coimbra due to work and also it was the freshman welcoming week so there was no time for posting guys. Well as for the big news I found a new home and moved in with a friend of mine from Coimbra who also studies in IADE (you can see her in the last picture). Our home is really close to college (no excuse to skip classes :p) and this year I have a bedroom with windows and a biiig closet :)

As for FNO I only had a chance to visit a couple of stores in Av. Liberdade which i'll talk about in another post. Well as I am running late and I still have to get ready for a watch presentation at Lux I'll see you tomorrow 'cause from now on I promise I'll dedicate more time for number 64!

Desculpem, desculpem, desculpem pela minha falta de dedicação ao blog ultimamente! Voltei para Lisboa à umas semanas atrás mas tem sido um imparável ir e vir de Coimbra para cá por causa de trabalho e foi também a recepção ao caloiro no IADE e por isso tem sido mesmo impossivel ter tempo para fazer posts. Bem agora boas noticias: encontrei uma nova casa e mudei-me com uma amiga minha de Coimbra que também estuda no IADE (podem vê-la na última foto). A nossa casa é bem pertinho da faculdade (não há desculpas para faltar às aulas :p) e este ano finalmente tenho janelas no quarto e um grandee armário :)

Entretanto e já à algum tempo foi o FNO mas infelizmente só consegui visitar algumas lojas na Av. da Liberdade do qual irei falar noutro post. Bem, tenho que me ir arranjar porque como sempre já estou atrasada para uma apresentação de relogios no Lux mas prometo que apartir de hoje irei dedicar mais tempo ao number 64!

On my home town..

Sorry guys for my absence but I was on vacations and I decided to give a few days off to my computer. Coming with a computer would ruin the idea that I have of vacations: being totally out from everything. Nevertheless as I will return to Lisbon only on September I decided to take advantage of being in my home town in middle August, to do stuff that otherwise would be impossible, such as taking pictures at the " Escadas Monumentais" without anyone around. During the year they are filled up with students running late for the classes or tourists taking pictures due to the fact it's one boundary of the old town. It's known by being the fastest, however not the easiest, way to get to the University. If you are planning to visit Coimbra, I deeply recoomend one short trip to the University and to these stairs. They will take you there ;)

P.S. This shoes were the first item I got during Zara sales in Lisbon, I felt in love with them at the beginning of the season but I always thought they were way to expensive..

So this is what I choose to wear to Madonna show last week a comfortable yet fabulous as Madonna would do. It was a lovely evening for which I want to thank my friends who offered me the ticket. 

Also I want to comment on the fantastic show she created pretty different and also bit dark. But the clothes oh the clothes she wore were soo Madonna soo great but my favorite was of course the metallic cone bra corset from Jean Paul Gautier she wore while singing Vogue! I think it was the best to revive the old Madonna days as she already wore a pink pointy corset playing Vogue in the 90's.

  And here to you I present Mr. Peanut my dear dog who wanted to appear in all pictures!
